Staff Voice
I work in a climate where emotional support is given and staff are valued for their contribution.
There are support mechanisms in place for staff who may have problems. I don't feel embarrassed bout discussing my needs with my manager.
Staff are very supportive of each other. We offer each other support, advice and know how to signpost them to other services.
We are a team and look after each other.
I feel comfortable about talking about my own emotional wellbeing and mental health at school.
School provide opportunities for children, parents and staff to talk about their wellbeing. Some of the support the SEMHW team gives includes; 1:1, small group, lunch clubs, daily time to talk and yoga.
We talk about it.
We have an SEMHW team within school; this includes a full time mental health nurse. We have a high needs resource base in school and lots of the children have SEMH as their primary area of need.
