Every term, pupils build up to producing a piece of Science work that is, where possible, of a standard higher than that at which they would regularly work.

Science is celebrated with pride in Friday Celebration Assemblies, where Science work is regularly rewarded.  Science work is displayed proudly in every classroom.

Science Week always includes an element of competition with a scientist of the day being award to the pupil who demonstrates tenacity to solving challenges. 

Science lessons regularly include hypothesising, testing and taking appropriate risks.

Science lessons regularly include paired and group work.
