Pupil Premium Funding

Pupil Premium is additional funding provided to schools for supporting the more disadvantaged pupils, to ensure they benefit from the same opportunities as all other children. It is for schools to decide how this is spent, as they are best placed to assess what additional provision should be made for the individual pupils at their school.

Our school pupil premium champion is Miss Kirwan.  She ensures that every child, especially those eligible for PPG, is making good or better progress and makes sure no learning opportunity is missed.

We have identified the main barriers to educational achievement faced by eligible pupils of the school in our Pupil Premium Policy and how we address those barriers can be found in our PPG statement.
