We Are A Rights Respecting School 

Last half term we were learning about Article 2 - Non discrimination.  During our lessons we showed a special  interest in diversity so decided to look more into what this means.  We learned that we are a very diverse class and have a lot of different religions, cultures and languages spoken.  As a result of this some of our friends wanted to share their stories of what it was like living in a different country before moving to England.  Some of our friends also wrote and spoke to us in Urdu, Arabic, Shona and Yoruba.  We were even taught by our friends to count in all these different languages!  

One of the books that we enjoy reading together is called "All about Diversity".  This helps us to further our understanding of the subject.
